This is an estimate that assumes the same growth rate every month. Real channel growth is uneven and not guaranteed.

How to use this tool

  1. Enter current subscribers and a monthly percentage growth rate.
  2. Choose the projection period and enter a subscriber goal.
  3. Review projected subscribers, milestones and estimated months to the goal.

How it works

Enter your current subscribers and an average monthly growth rate in percent. The calculator compounds the growth month by month: next month = this month × (1 + rate ÷ 100).

Add a subscriber goal to see an estimate of how many months it could take to reach it at that rate.

A table shows the projected subscribers at key months so you can plan milestones.

Example

A channel with 1,000 subscribers growing 10% per month reaches 1,100 after one month, 1,210 after two months and about 3,138 after twelve months. Reaching 10,000 would take around 25 months.

Limitations

  • The projection assumes the same growth rate every month, which rarely happens in reality.
  • One viral video or a break from uploading can change the result a lot.
  • This is an estimate for planning, not a guaranteed outcome.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find my monthly growth rate?

Divide the subscribers you gained last month by your subscriber count at the start of that month, and multiply by 100.

What is a realistic growth rate?

It varies widely. Small channels can grow quickly in percent, while large channels usually grow more slowly in percent.

Why does the goal say “not reachable”?

With a growth rate of 0% the channel never grows, so the goal cannot be reached in the projection.
